Guateque Design is a studio founded by Gley Luna, an architect and interior designer who built her practice collaborating with high-end international architecture and interior design firms specializing in residential and commercial interiors, developing concepts, technical drawings, custom furniture, and 3D renderings for clients around the world. Each market came with different budgets, codes, and expectations, which taught her to listen first and design second: translating what a client wants to feel in a space and what they actually need into something buildable, clear, and elegant.<\/p>\n
Since moving to Montreal, Gley furthered her studies and specialized in interior design, while keeping that same approach: collaborating with local designers on select projects, and looking to work with clients renovating their homes, reimagining commercial interiors, or starting a project from scratch.<\/p>\n
Every project starts with a real conversation about lifestyle, budget, function, and how someone wants to move through their space. The studio brings clarity, guiding clients through space planning, material and finish selection, furniture and d\u00e9cor sourcing, technical drawings, 3D visualization, and design coordination.<\/p>\n
Gley also teaches future interior decorating professionals at Pearson Electrotechnology Centre, work that has sharpened how she explains design decisions: clients don’t need overwhelming terminology; they need to understand why a choice works, clearly enough to say yes with confidence.<\/p>\n
